CFM56 Nozzle Body

This is the Nozzle body assembly for the GE/Snecma CFM56 Engine. There are twenty nozzles per engine, and there are more CFM engines flying than all other engines combined. Axian is the sole producer of 12 individual components and subassemblies in this nozzle. We have been the sole source on most of these parts since the mid 1980s.

Trent 500 Fuel Inlet Fitting

This is the Fuel Inlet fitting for the Rolls Royce Trent 500 engine. The part is made from the high-temperature exotic alloy, Inconnel. What is particularly challenging on this part is a long deep close tolerance bore. The bore has several diameters and is partially obstructed by the angled offset of the threaded end. The small end is also offset, giving the part three different axes to machine. Axian is the sole supplier of this very difficult part.
